The region’s unique climate—where the intense Mediterranean sun meets cool mountain breezes—combined with mineral-rich volcanic soil, creates exceptionally high levels of protective antioxidants and healing active compounds.
For a century, the Talerico family cultivated this land and tended to its wild, native herbs. After our father immigrated to America in the 1970s, the fields grew quiet.
Today, we have returned to these roots. As the current shepherds of his land, we cultivate Saffron with that same devotion. We believe what is grown in Calabria can heal both the body and soul. We hope our exquisite Saffron does just that for you.
